Author-led talk and walk

Wanderers: A History of Women Walking

The One Planet Abingdon Climate Emergency Centre welcomes author Kerri Andrews to Abingdon. From 10am she will give a short introduction to some of the incredible women she has written about in her fascinating book. Following this there will be coffee, cake and a book-signing break and then we will head off for a friendly short walk, with readings from the book and discussion as the mood takes us. Numbers on this event will be limited due to venue constraints and to ensure walkers can hear the readings and the discussion. Please register while there are still places.

It is possible to register for the introduction only and go off for one of the longer Ramblers-led walks afterwards. The introduction will be wrapping up by 10.30-10.45 and we will understand if you have to leave in haste so as not to miss your group!
